Sara Fernandez Palacio
Master Instructor, Physiotherapist
In 2005 I graduated as a physio in Gimbernat University, Barcelona. I worked in Spain for 2 years and specialised in postural rehabilitation.
In 2008 I moved to France where I also worked as a physiotherapist and become interested in women's health. I therefore trained in pelvic floor rehabilitation and hypopressive gymnastics with Marcel Caufriez.
It was by coincident that I discovered Pilates in 2014 during a three-day workshop for physios. After that I started introducing some Pilates exercises at the end of my physio sessions with excellent results.
The following year, I decided to go through a professional training with Polestar Pilates in Spain and I fell in love with the method.
The Polestar Pilates way of understanding movement was a revolution in my life, my whole posture changed, I discovered that I could move differently, I was more flexible, less tired, more motivated…
Since then I’m passionate about movement and I keep moving and learning.
In my free time I practice yoga, dance and try to spend as much time as I can in nature.
When I teach Pilates my aim is to transmit my passion of movement to my clients and show them that life is much easier when you are able to move freely.
