The Pilates® Method, developed by the legendary trainer Joseph Pilates, is an exercise programme for the entire body. With an emphasis on correct breathing and the right balance between strength and suppleness, Pilates® uses the abdominals, the lower back and the buttock muscles as the powerhouse, allowing the rest of the body to move freely.

A series of controlled movements on special equipment allows for adjustable resistance during the muscular effort.

Pilates® uses six elements: concentration, breathing, precision, centering, control and flowing movement. Thanks to this mental focus you will experience a new kind of awareness. This mind-body technique is a more efficient way of training. Pilates® sessions are geared towards the needs of every participant. The sessions usually take place with one trainer per client or in small groups.
